Privacy
This site does not collect anything about you.
This policy covers learnsilas.vortex.llc and nothing else. It is a set of information pages about Silas™. There is no sign-up, no account, no form, no payment and no cookie on it.
Other Vortex Computation websites do collect information, such as the contact form on vortex.llc, and they have their own policies. This page does not speak for them.
The short version
- We ask you for nothing. There is no form on this website, so there is nothing for you to submit and nothing for us to store.
- We set no cookies and run no advertising or tracking scripts. See the Cookie Policy.
- We sell nothing about you, because there is nothing to sell.
- Our host keeps server logs, as every web host does, to serve and protect the site.
- If you follow our contact link you leave this site and land on vortex.llc, where a different policy applies.
1. What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you, and nothing you have to give us. Specifically, this website has:
- No contact form, and no fields. Every page is a static document. The only way to contact us from here is a link that opens a different website.
- No accounts and no log-in. There is no user record to create, so there are no credentials, no profile and no usage history tied to a person.
- No payments. Nothing is sold from this property, so no billing or card data passes through it at any point.
- No cookies. No first-party cookie is set, no advertising or cross-site tracking script is loaded, and nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage. Our host may record aggregate, cookieless measurements of page views and page speed; those are counts, not profiles, and they do not identify you or follow you to another website.
- No third-party embeds. The typefaces are served from this site's own domain rather than fetched from a font provider, and the images are our own files. There is no chat widget, no video player, no map and no social embed.
2. What our hosting provider records
This site is hosted on a commercial hosting platform. Like any web server, it necessarily receives and logs the technical details of each request in order to deliver the page and to protect the service from abuse: your IP address, the address of the page requested, the referring address if your browser sends one, your browser and device type, and the date and time.
We do not use those logs to build a profile of you, we do not combine them with anything else, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from them. They exist so the site can be served and kept available.
3. When you contact us
There is no way to send us a message from this website. Every “Request access” and “Contact” link opens the contact form on vortex.llc, which is a different website with its own privacy policy and its own cookies. When you use that form, the information you type there is collected by Vortex Computation under that site's policy, not this one.
You can also reach us directly by email or telephone using the details at the end of this page. If you do, we hold what you send us for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. Because this website collects nothing, there is nothing here to share in the first place. Where you have contacted us directly, we share what you sent only with the service providers that operate our own systems, our host and our email provider, and only so far as they need it to provide that service, or where the law requires it.
5. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for the information we do hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address at the end of this page. In the case of this website specifically, the honest answer to such a request will usually be that we hold nothing, because nothing was ever collected.
There are no cookies to opt out of on this site. If you have used the contact form on vortex.llc, the choices described in that site's policy apply there.
7. Children’s privacy
This website and the products it describes are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this website ever starts collecting something, whether an analytics script, a form or a cookie, this page changes before that ships, not afterwards. When we update it we revise the “last updated” date at the top.
